The graphic novel "My Friend Dahmer” recounts the early years of a serial killer in the US. This deeply disturbing book by Derf Backderf, a school friend of Dahmer’s, delves into the depths of human m
I feel very gross about this. On one hand it feels gross to make something about someone who was clearly very ill and is dead, but at the same time that same person did something so horrible. It’s also really sad to see that maybe if just a few more people were there for him that maybe he would’ve never done any of this and hurt so many people. It’s just all so sad
I saw the title and decided to click on it, only to comment DW to let them know that the world is already burning, no need to add fuel to it with such documentaries. Find something positive, humanity needs it!
Dahmer maybe bad due to what he did in the past; but what was important is he cooperated to the crimes he committed; and accepted his punishment. For me, he was also a victim of poor guidance by his parents. I feel bad to what had happened to him. I think, he is better than John Wayne Gacy because of his admission and realization on the latter part of his life. Loneliness leads him to insanity,
I think if you were going to write a book and do this documentary, you should have visited Dahmer while he was in prison. He was in there for 3 1/2 years.
Wow I have never seen DW documentary about a serial killer because it was about politics and about countries situations. They are really trying something now these days. Now doing something with Jeffrey Dahmer is taking new path to what he des
This might controversial but back at 9th grade when I was religious i forgave him for his crimes because he was abandoned by his parents, they didnt attend his graduation which is a milestone, his family was spilt, drinking alcohol heavily, loving dead animals because he didnt have anyone to interact with, his parents were arguing a lot and loud, and he was in deep isolation that he wanted be comforted by people who could stay with him and not leave him. That led to psychological impact on him as he didnt want his victims to leave him thinking they would never come back isolating him. I do feel sorry for the victims and I wish Jeffrey was sent to a psychologist instead of prison to understand his crimes better. Prison did him no good and kept up with his actions until he got baptized and learn his mistakes. Him getting baptized led me to forgive him.
It's strange he has to be tied to Dahmer in some way, for his entire life- consciously or unconsciously
