A smart president would ask if Canada needs assistance which it obviously does. Instead he decides to teach the smoke a lesson by increasing tariffs. Trump is an absolute buffoon.
No mention of the fires burning in Minnesota nor Michigan? Look at a map Donald. After you look at the map, thank the family of the Canadian helicopter pilot who died in action fighting a fire in Colorado.
Canada is flooding the American smoke market with free smoke. The American smoke farmers are going out of business! Hence the tariffs. Is it time for another cognitive test?

Right? It's wild that trade tariffs are being linked to weather patterns. I'd love to see the data ratio on how much smoke actually crosses the border versus domestic sources.

Carney needs to double down. He can site that Americans have sent acid rain to Canada for decades from their coal plants; and almost all of our illegal handguns are coming from the USA.
1.) Tariffs are not paid by foreign nations, they're paid by American businesses that import.
2.) Trump cares about pollution? This the guy who wants to reactivate coal plants, and "drill baby drill" ?
Instead of helping Canada with the fires, they impose a tarrif. How low the us has fallen. We here in Europe help each other and yet they talk trash of Europeans.
