Spot on, Steven. It really does feel like we've stepped straight into a dystopian script lately.
Oh, and I heard Canada is negligent about these fires. And that if we can't control it, American resources will do so. Ok great. C'mon in. Your efforts would be appreciated but they will NOT really help. This is not a few brush fires we're dealing with. All the water bombers in the world will not make a tiny dent. Let it burn out, new trees love charred ground. Let the winds shift back to a normal direction (yes they don't talk about the abnormal winds that would hurt their narrative).

For 100 Years Ontario & Quebec have dealt with the prevailing winds bringing massive pollution from the industrial heartland of the midwest into our lungs. Acid rain harmed our lakes. Higher than avg cancer rates. And now some of them (really only the loud few, most Americans are awesome) are getting pissy about a GD temporary campfire.
America dumps 4600 mega tonnes per year of CO2 into the atmosphere, compared to Canada's 600 mega tonnes. (China by itself adds another 13,000 mega tonnes and the EU adds 3300). All this heat is hardly Canada's responsibility to solve.
A BC helicopter pilot was helping put out fires in Colorado last week, he died while helping America with it's problems. Canada sends help, America sends tariffs. If the wind shifted, and smoke from American fires was travelling north, would America pay compensation? It's foolish.
The final should have been here in Los Angeles from the beginning. SOFI stadium is the most technologically advanced stadium in the world...and anyway everything is just better here in California
Of course it's Canada, as that's where the fires occur due to lack of cleaning out dead wood and adequate forestation maintenance following, as usual, the feeble-minded 'environmental' policy.
👱🏽 I've never seen fire burn so horribly yes horribly, Canadian fires are none like ours in the US. We have very beatiful wild fires here, yes very beautiful 👌🏼
