England are through to the World Cup semi-finals to take on Argentina after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Norway in Miami - but how did Thomas Tuchel's side find a way to win despite being second best f
Kane's goal v Mexico was also similar :

Forest fans aren't trying to do Anderson dirty. We're massively proud that a player we developed into the man he is is doing so brilliantly. This was his best England match.
There's a lot to say about this game both good and bad for both teams, but let's get two things straight. Norway's first goal ... WAS A CROSS. They all count, but it wasn't a clear shot on goal. Secondly .... the hand drone of god. That's got to say something right there. I know we got lucky with that, but you can't blame England for it.
6:30 good point. I think by now Foden and Palmer know now that if they want to play for England, they will need to mold well with Bellingham or not even bother. However, Gordon and Saka know their role. Think we finally have a trophy winning front 4. If not now, then soon in the next few years.
Playing a good norway team as this one certainly a tough ask. Look how brazil capitulated at the end. Lest we forget, this norway team is actually went unbeaten and top of their qualifying world cup group that has italy in it and also top of nation league group with one defeat. Their tactical masterclass is elegant, maximising odegaard-haaland duo strength and built the team around the axis two. Odegaard tactical movement or more like libero roles switching side were done with two purpose, drained the opponent early on and sudden thru ball to dangerous area where haaland was lurking to pounce. Look at brazil , by the time norway caught with leading goal, the brazilian team was too drain to mount a comeback. So yeah,. to think england might pulled this out easily is really an understatement.
England is suited playing argentina than norway. This argentina team is not as scary as 4-years ago argentina and rightly so because of their age-old player. Argentina is slow in the buildup and they are anchoring their attack from messi while using wide player as a diversion attack. They do not have height to compete the aerial duel but they'd overloaded the spaces to create confusion of oppon
For the first time EVER, a goal kick - hangs in the air for 5 seconds and not one player goes for a header when the ball comes down. This does not happen. You know why? Because it's easy for players, in normal conditions, to SEE where the ball will land and contest the ball. We did this in 3rd division in windy conditions. If you ever played, you know you don't let the ball bounce from a goal kick. Unless... ball changes direction. Admit it.
Point 3 discussing Anderson's performance is spot on and even prior to the corner kick 'push fight' he grappled near midfield like two wrestler of titanic strength.
As this tournament advanced, the top teams could show that being together and training with 1 weekly intervals between games in the early phase - allowed for them to become more cohesive. What this did for the English team is accelerate their development and make then peak much earlier than I thought was possible. Initially, I was convinced that this team was built for future success. Not any more. I think they can go all the way. The tactical nous of Tuchel has also been on display. Well done England - You can win it all. You have what it takes .
10:00 Props to Tuchel for that sub... actually fort NOR was having a decent game so was confused when he took him off but Spence was immense when he came on... defended well and was a bit of a menace going forward
Elliot anderson is such a key player but sometimes he flies under the radar because its not a flashy job. but he always seems to be where he is needed its incredible
