Another tragedy for the Bordeaux area—ash ruins the grapes. Along with all produce. We experienced this in the Pacific Northwest of the US. What a tragedy.
It takes a long time to evacuate cities, it’s better to issue evacuation notices in Bordeaux early. They could go district by district, starting with those closest to the fire front.
And there are people who say this is the norm?
Extreme weather on this planet has changed dramatically for the worse in the last 30-40 years.
Fact.

WORLD IS ON FIRE. This past few days in my area the wildfires and heatwave have been very intense and very dangerous. Canada, U.S.A, France, Spain on fire
Im a British chap living in Spain(Almeria )it's been a crazy.summer the fire engines have not stopped.we had a fire four weeks ago I got smoke damaged lungs saving our horses
Praying for you all, here in California, where we’re no strangers to blistering heat and raging wildfires. I hope everyone gets out safely, including all animals. We’ve lost so many loved ones since the terrible fires of 2017 that the state has implemented a new, multifaceted, wildlife safety plan, we hope it will help. We have many communities in the UWI (Urban Wildland Interface) that we’re having to make a lot of changes. The year 2017 saw the first wildland fires spreading to suburban communities in minutes. All available public workers went door to door in the night, telling people to run for their lives. The ones that did are still alive. I’m now prepared to evacuate my cat and myself on one-minute notice. First I put him in his carrier out the front door, then grab my purse and phone, slippers and robe, and run. His carrier is a backpack style in case I really have to run a distance.
I cannot imagine the fear and horror of this it’s just heartbreaking and frightening
