As someone who grew up in the Bordeaux region, I just wanted to point out a small geographical correction: it is Cap Ferret (on the Arcachon Bay), not Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera. Sadly, the situation around Arcachon Bay is heartbreaking. Thank you for helping raise awareness about these devastating wildfires, and my deepest respect to all the firefighters risking their lives to protect people and nature. ❤🌲🚒
The chances that this will happen in Australia this year are pretty high if the El Niño is as intense as forecast. Thoughts with everybody in Spain and France affected by these fires! 🇦🇺
Could you include maps of where these fires are and the extent of the affected lands, it would make it easier to understand for those of us who’s geographically knowledge isn’t as good as it could be. But thanks for this report
