As an Accountant I find this quite funny. Corporations are taxed AFTER expenses while ordinary people are taxes PRIOR to expenses. If a corporation gets to deduct rent of office space and warehouses, I as a regular citizen should be able to deduct my rent from my net income as well. But hey, what do I know.
The greed of billionaires is really despicable. They are fighting so fiercely against the idea of having to pay their fair share of tax money whilst being so rich they can’t possibly spend their money even if they tried.
What people think: "no taxes, you get an extra $1k a month." Reality: employer says "now since you don't need to pay taxes, I'll pay you $1k less a month."
The point Bezo’s trying to push is eliminating government services so that the private sector (him and his buddies) can come in and provide at a higher price. Yea the nurse “saved” $1k a month in taxes just to spend $2k a month in private services that replace the tax and fatten Bezos pockets
These people who own everything will say and do anything to give nothing.
