TV and radio discussion on wealth taxes usually get derailed by fear mongering and terrible statistics – often from people who are paid to defend the ultra rich. What would an honest debate about weal
I still remember the first video I watched from you gave me goosebumps, because finally everything made sense. What you achieved with this series is truly outstanding and noone can take it from you or from us.
The section about problems with wealth taxes and directions on how to solve them was sooo important! Great to have it all in one place to go back to in the future!
I also love how you stress the importance of being focused on the big goal, reducing wealth inequality, because it is way too easy to lose track over the course of a longer discussion. Suddenly you find yourself talking about the impact of venture capital on local start-ups instead of why it is necessary to redistribute wealth.
Ive read your book, watched your documentary, watch your youtube. Sending lots of respect and love. What you are doing does matter and is talked about worldwide.
We are being exploited and bullied by people who should have a social conscious and duty of care to society but who would rather feast on it's weakest members. It's an epidemic of hungry ghosts! I can't thanku enough for making yourself visible in this war. We love & appreciate you❤❤❤
Compounding is the most important word here and 'compounding inequality' is the enemy that will tear our democracies apart eventually if not tackled sooner rather than later
The documentary was pretty good I thought. The interviews with the rich were very revealing. The wealthy few regard their good fortune as entitlement. They didn't come over well, to say the least.
Gary is a hero. He doesn't have to do this. Great job.
Thank you Gary for ALL your efforts, despite the crap you have to put up with from detractors and the ignorant. Take good care, rest well and nurture your soul. As someone currently recovering from burn out, I know how hard it is to dig out of that hole, so look after yourself.
They always say "never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience." Your patience with the media circus is commendable. Especially when they consistantly treat you like a random bloke they pulled off the street and not the UK's leading expert on wealth inequality and economics.
"Im tired of being called liars by liars and an idiot by idiots" was deep, keep pushing through those barriers!
