How can politicians who earn £95,000 a year know how poor people live do they really think saving £45 a year will make a blind bit of difference. I mean £45 us less than a weeks shopping.
@
13p a day mind how you go just an insult to the taxpayer
@

There should never have been VAT on vital needs like gas, electricity and water!
@
Even if the there is a very small cut in the electricity bill the gas bills are even higher, food bills increase every few weeks council tax is out of control .....Is this man joking ?
@
Give with one hand. Take twice as much away with the other.
@
FFs a few quid of the electric we use. Halve the Standing Charge fee, is what WOULD make a difference.
@
Ban standing charge on electric bills and set a rinsing tarriff based on the amount of electricity used, that would help millions

Most people use gas for heating in the winter, why not cut the VAT on gas too? Or scrap the standing charges? They are a complete rip off.
@
They will collect the money saved somewhere else 😂😂😂

A ten-year plan is ambitious, but the immediate focus must remain on the cost of living crisis. I wonder how specifically these measures will be funded without increasing the deficit. Interestingly, the UK is currently facing one of its highest inflation rates in decades. Let's see if the execution matches the rhetoric.
