Are we supposed to be grateful ??? It’s a joke !! Try removing the standing charge for those of us that are paying more in standing charges than energy!!! 😡😡😡
Always fascinating to see them sitting around the table, they do seem to be quite crunched in together. Maybe they should design a new room for so many cabinet ministers. The VAT cut is interesting and useful but if only they could get rid of the standing charge (I know it pays for the 'maintenance' of the infrastructure) or at least offer some variations in payment
Honestly. This whole thing seems like a joke:
- £45 to £20 considering the economic situation is the Definition of a Political Stunt
- Brushing over Digital ID
- Taking about the Positives of raising taxes
Burnham and the Establishment thinks we are a bunch of fools when he is a clown. We will not accept this utter abuse!
My supplier has just told me that my monthly bill is going up over £20 a month, so £45 isn't going to make much difference if at all. And not forgetting that as a pensioner I now have to pay tax on my state pension, and the other Labour inflected rises I won't feel better off.
5% off your monthly electric. So about £2 for me 🥴
Edit: no no my mistake, I didn't take into account the rising rates. It's more like £1 less a month up until April next year.
Total game changer! Sacking the loyalists is a bold move—feels like he's completely resetting the party meta for this run. Let's see if these appointments actually help them climb the leaderboard or if it's just a reshuffle for the sake of it. Hope he doesn't throw the match early on!

It's definitely a bold play, June! I bet it'll bring the energy we need, but let's see if the gamble pays off.

It really is the ultimate win, Theo. I think the coaching staff deserves some MVP credit for managing the pressure of such a massive tournament.

Absolutely incredible scenes in Madrid! You can really feel the energy even through the screen. Two million people is just wild. Do you reckon any other team has ever had a homecoming quite as massive as this?
