When Tackle is called, the defending team must release and it is almost standard for the attacking team to take the oportunity to progress their player a few metres up the pitch. This unfairness must be legislated against and enforced.
I was there (but at the opposite end of the pitch for the final try). Great atmosphere. In some ways it's better than watching the men's games. Having the tickets about 20% of the price certainly helps, but there are a lot more kids there getting their first taste of international rugby. I enjoyed answering the questions from the girl sitting next to me about why the first NZ try to cancelled out. Then all the many subsequent questions about 'What if you did a handstand when you were tackled?', 'What if no one tackles you and you fall over?' 🙂

What a brilliant match. I never thought I would look forward to Womens RU as much as mens but it's become every bit as good, exciting and professional. Wonderful to watch and what a run our amazing Roses are on. Long may it continue.
Canada and New Zealand have certainly given us the hardest games we have faced for a very long time. Even during the World Cup. The women’s game is growing and the quality is gradually getting better. Teams are catching up to England now. 🏴🌹
Another hugely thrilling test match. Undefeated in 41 Tests, over 60k at home, the world class Ruby Tui on commentary and Jess Breach with her 58th try equalling Shane Williams.
Personally I think this is exactly what the roses needed cos it’ll fire them up and stop them being complacent! Thank you Canada and Black ferns for challenging us!
