Desi Lydic and Daily Show writer Kat Radley chat about accidentally watching "The Odyssey" together on a non-IMAX screen, how America's diarrhea outbreak dominated headlines for an entire week, Trump'
Hello ladies. As a Canadian, I'd like to comment on the smoke moving southward from Northern Ontario,.
During last year's California wild fires Canada helped local residents put out fires by sending planes south that could scoop up water and drop it on the flames below as they passed by overhead. In the Eastern Ontario ice storm of January 1998 (when Bill Clinton was prez) hydro workers from upper state New York helped local hydro workers repair power lines. Residents of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec were very thankful for all the help they provided. Now, when Ontario & British Columbia are experiencing a natural disaster (wild fires), why is the only thing Trumb (the one trick pony) can think of is raising tariffs? Why won't he offer to help out (especially since many Americans are being impacted)? And why isn't anyone on his cabinet smart enough to suggest this? Why has hatred become the driving force in the United States over the past couple of years?
I love your show and this commentary, and I thank you for your kind comments about Canada, but you missed the fact that Canada and Mexico were also host countries for the World Cup.
We love you too Desi & co.! A Canadian pilot was killed a few weeks ago fighting wildfires in Colorado. And wildfires crossed over from Minnesota into Canada this week as well. Trump has a strange take on what it is to be a neighbour.
