It’s honestly terrifying how quickly things can go wrong during something as routine as a traffic stop. I'm just so relieved that Cpl. Swisher was there and acted fast enough to get him out safely. Imagine the panic in those few seconds—thank goodness he's okay.

Absolutely heartbreaking. There’s no room for this kind of violence, especially at a community event where families are just trying to enjoy themselves. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. We have to do better to protect our people. Stay strong, Seattle.
