On another post a local is asking why there are no choppers. Well the RAF deploy Chinooks to Cyprus every year for fire fighting. Living in Forres I pointed this out when the Dava was ablaze this time last year. So if the RAF can protect Cyprus why are they not doing so in the Cairngorms?
