Why should I knock on my own door and no they haven’t been doing it for thousands of years

Net-zero shouldn't even be in their vocabulary. Leave the Paris agreement. Leave the United Nations criminal organisation. Stop taking orders from them.

This nonsense started not that long ago.

I'm 79, I am 7th generation. Welcoming me is simply a racist put-down. Try welcoming me and I'll sing Advance Australia Fair

If Indigenous people have been saying welcome come in to my home/country for thousands of years then why are they kicking up a fuss about the British coming in if they were welcomed in???!
@
Just wait until Albo moves into his beach house, then go and knock on his door, and see how welcome you are, especially homeless people, he might have a few spare rooms to rent...
@
If a homeless aboriginal person or family knocked on the door of Kirribilli House or the Lodge and asked, "May I come in?" we all know Albo would move them on. It's all a game deception and lies. Our anger is their agenda.
@
Albo, grow a pair and apologize publicly to Kylie and the Japanese PM before lecturing to us about anything.

Americans thrive on the founders and the Constitution. We thrive on apologies and damage control?

It's such a shame when something meant to be meaningful starts feeling like a routine. I really hope this conversation leads to a more genuine way of showing respect that feels authentic to everyone involved. There has to be a way to keep the heart of the tradition alive without it feeling performative!

Hi everyone! Cherong Long certainly doesn't hold back here—calling these ceremonies a "box-ticking exercise" is a pretty bold take. I'm curious to hear where you all stand on this. Do you feel these welcomes have lost their meaning over time, or are they still important?
