I don’t think a certain demographic understand the concept of evolution. Evolution isn’t a species deciding to evolve in a certain way, it’s essentially a mutation that allows a certain animal to thrive beyond its competition and thus allows it to pass on its genetic. Slowly shaping the species with its superior genetics. The species then evolves due to those mutations shaping the gene pool.

Wow, it will be something like walking with monsters with this evolution timelapses.

We got a trailer for evolution before the second episode of Steel Ball Run

There seems to be something interesting among the creationists here: they'll, more often than not, quote a scientist that doesn't even reject evolution, and only focus on their gripes as if it disproves it. That's not how science works, it's the job of scientists to bring up gaps in their explanations so that they could work to find one. Gaps in model, doesn't disprove it. If the explanation is completely wrong, then there must be another one that compensates for the vast amount of evidence that there is for the original. So far, there is no competing theory with evolution that has any scientific backing, due to redundancy.
