The Israeli war on Gaza has destroyed both homes and businesses, and forced more Palestinians to find new ways to survive. Many now earn a living by salvaging scrap metal from the rubble. Yusuf Sosar
It’s heartbreaking to see folks having to scavenge just to put food on the table. Reminds me of the stories my grandfather told about the lean years after the big wars, where nothing was wasted because everything was a luxury. Hard to imagine that kind of struggle in this day and age. God bless them.

Heartbreaking to see people having to literally dig through their own lives just to find something to sell for food. Truly wild how resilient they are, but they shouldn't have to be. Hope things turn around soon.
