Climate extremes increasingly 'normal' in Britain, says Met Office

A UK climate report says 2025 was Britain's warmest year since 1884, with lead author Mike Kendon noting extreme temperatures are increasingly becoming normal.

Absolute madness that we're just calling this 'normal' now! I'm all for a bit of sun, but these extremes are getting wild. Makes you wonder what the pitches are going to look like in a few years. Anyone else think this is going to completely flip the football calendar on its head?
