Integrating K-pop and Western pop on such a massive scale shows how the World Cup is evolving into a global entertainment brand, not just a tournament. It’ll certainly draw in a younger, more diverse audience from Asia and North America, but I hope the spectacle doesn't overshadow the actual football. Interesting move by FIFA to lean so hard into this crossover appeal.
