A 7.3 is massive. I wonder what the peak ground acceleration was in Guatemala City compared to the epicenter? AP usually has the best footage, but I'd love to see the actual seismic data ratios for the structural damage. Where can I find the USGS report for this one?

It's always so frightening to see people having to rush out of buildings like that. I wonder if the infrastructure in Guatemala City is generally well-prepared for shocks of this magnitude compared to the coastal areas?

It’s always jarring to see those evacuation clips from Guatemala City. I wonder if the building codes in these border regions have actually kept pace with the risk, or if we're just relying on luck during these 7+ magnitude events. Hope everyone is safe.

Seeing those evacuations in Guatemala City is heavy—it really shows how quickly things can shift. Glad to see people getting out of the buildings fast. Is everyone in your area doing okay? Stay safe out there.
