Advances in chatbots and LLMs are interesting, but aren't really that useful at this point. Other types of AI really deserve more investment and attention.

Another day, another "breakthrough" from across the pond. All these fancy labels like Kimi K3, but does it actually do anything useful or is it just more corporate noise to make the accountants sweat? I'll believe the gap is closing when it can tell me why my bins weren't collected on Tuesday without hallucinating. Typical Bloomberg, turning a bit of software into a geopolitical crisis.

It's wild how quickly the gap is closing—seeing Moonshot AI unveil the Kimi K3 really puts the pressure on US spending. Do you think we're heading toward a full-on global AI arms race, or will collaboration eventually win out?
