I get what you mean with having life that is self sufficient and fufilling life on its own and i agree with that. that you should have your own interests and hobbies and not get obsessed with finding a partner (ive been there). but the thing i dont really agree with is that a relationship/ partner is a compliment on top of your life. because a relationship is a serious thing where both people should be committed towards eachother, fufill each other, make each other happy and their time together enjoyable and help eachother grow as people. without that, why would you even search for a relationship? when youre saying that you never need your partner to be happy, you are not really understanding the fundamentals of a good relationship. both people should be happy, love eachother, make eachother grow, enjoy eachothers time together and most importantly reciprocate the love. how would you feel if youre partner didn’t care if you were happy or not with your relationship? it wouldn’t feel so good right? the first part is great: find yourself, your hobbies, intrests and really find your soul, mate. and after having a stable life and values i believe that then you are ready to search and fi
