European football's governing body Uefa and UK PM Andy Burnham have criticised proposals from Fifa to seek private investment in its competitions, including the World Cup.
It is wild how much the business side of the World Cup overshadows the actual sport sometimes. I wonder if bringing in private investors will actually change how the tournaments are run or just make things more corporate. Interesting breakdown of the tension between FIFA and UEFA.

Absolute chaos in the boardroom! It’s wild to see the tension between FIFA and UEFA over this private investment plan. Do we want the big money coming in, or is this taking the game too far? Who do you reckon is right here? Let's hear it!
