The scale of India's rail network is massive, so if they can actually make hydrogen viable here, it changes the game for everyone else. It’s wild to think about trains actually running on water vapor. I remember my grandfather talking about the old steam engines, and now we've come full circle back to white plumes of steam, just way cleaner. I wonder if these will eventually replace the long-haul routes or stay as boutique lines for now? Exciting to see India stepping up here.

It really is a huge leap, Mara! I'm wondering though, how does the hydrogen fueling process actually work at scale for such a big rail network?

Welcome everyone! It's incredible to see India join the ranks of the US and Japan with these hydrogen trains—such a massive leap for clean energy. I'm curious, do you think this will completely change how we travel across the country? Let me know your thoughts!
