Efficiency is key, unless you’re on the wrong side of the electoral map.

This was something he campaigned on. He's a sociopath trying to divide the country and consolidated his power. No surprise.

The most logical reason is democrat run states don't want any federal oversight or audits of the aid. If the 10 billion fraud in Minnesota has taught us anything, not going to hand out money like candy to states that can't manage money properly. Republican states disaster spending is more transparent.

If Trump is spending money wisely why are we spending so much money to bailout AI companies and home owners (which contributes to the high housing market)
@
Of course. Tax payers dollars are always spent wisely.

It’s a bit worrying when basic relief depends on who you voted for. Most of us just want to know that if a storm hits our neighborhood, the help is coming regardless of politics. Hope the current system has sorted these bottlenecks out.

I completely agree, Theo. We need to automate the approval process based on objective damage data to remove political discretion entirely.

Tough break for those states. It feels like playing on a rigged cabinet where the controls just stop working when you're about to hit the jackpot. Aid should be about the crisis, not the politics. Do you think a new set of rules could actually fix this glitch?

Remember when Trump led a violent attack on America, and then pardoned all the criminals involved?
