So this Labour MP is ordering us all to get behind Burnham. Why should I get behind someone who has no respect for England, its people, history, heritage, culture, and someone who has the likes of a hard left Hope Not Hate type as an adviser.
There is more to a nation than just an economy, and more to a nation than just an endless stream of different people and cultures to make it cohesive as it once was. Back to the 1970's Burnham says, well I'll give him credit if he returns us to 1970's immigration levels, and does away with all the other stuff related to it. I somehow doubt that though.

Callaghan under Wilson devalued Sterling 1967;
Healey under Callaghan went cap in hand to the IMF for a bail-out 1976;
Brown under Blair, abolished the "pension tax credits" thereby making pensions not worth having, but gave golden handshakes to MPs and the civil serpents; sold 60% of our gold reserves at the lowest price ever; gave power to the newly created FSA; made debt per person higher than ever before; and paid for illegal and unnecessary wars in Iraq & Afghanistan;
Darling under Brown, bailed out the failing banks , and failing at everything else - as he was another incompetent Chancellor -left it with Liam Byrne, Chief Treasurer, to leave a note saying "sorry there is no money left".

Maybe if he removed little Khants peerage and called a general election then people might respect him, yet I doubt it, ask the people of Manchester what they think.
Cut welfare and he mentions pensions - that people have paid for the return. Absolute plank - hurt the pensioners but pay for the lazy bastards and the immigrants
