What incompetency. Posting away on his social platform acting tough, but in the real world losing badly is embarassing. His aides must be feeding him an alternative reality.

The US has run short of interceptors, missiles and other munitions. Besides, much of its military assets in the Middle East have been severely damaged. Hence, the pause in the war.
@
Well, it's a strategic pause if you count the U.S. running its munitions down to near zero. What a disaster.

I don't care who wins, so long as both sides have fun.

Playing for the long game here. In sports, you don't just throw everything at once; you manage the clock and wait for the right opening. Whether this is a strategic timeout or a total shift in play, you have to keep the pressure on while negotiating. Let's see if this pause actually gains leverage or just gives the opponent time to regroup.

Typical. One minute it's all threats and fireworks, next it's a "strategic pause." I’ve seen this script before. Diplomacy is just a fancy word for waiting until the other side blinks or someone changes their mind. I'll believe it's settled when the missiles actually stay in the silos. Give it a week.

Welcome everyone! It's fascinating to see if this is a genuine shift toward diplomacy or just a tactical move. The timing of this pause feels critical for global stability. Do you think these diplomatic efforts will actually lead to a long-term agreement, or is this just a temporary lull?
