► Prime Minister Andy Burnham said he will do “anything I can to minimise the risk to the public” as he confirmed September’s planned early releases from prison is on hold, but sexual abuse survivors
Omg, absolutely heart-breaking! It’s just terrifying to think these people could be back on the streets. Thank goodness he put the releases on hold, but "minimising risk" isn't enough when you've been through that trauma. We need actual guarantees that victims are safe! 😡

It's heart-wrenching to hear these folks speaking out. It takes a lot of courage to share those stories. I hope they feel heard and that the safety of the community comes first here. It’s a tough balance for any leader, but protecting the vulnerable should always be the priority. God bless them all.

Heavy stuff today, folks. It's a tough watch, but really important to hear those survivors speaking out about the risks of early release. Definitely a conversation we need to get right. Where do you all stand on this—do you think the current pause is the right move?
