“The Trump administration is keen to work with whoever the Prime Minister is as well as they could. The question is what does as well as they could look like?”
Mr Burnham. Please don't even consider taking the advice of a multi-bankrupt who has made millions from doing just that and is currently attempting to bankruot the USA along with every other country in the World bar Russia, Israel and Kim. In fact, listen to his 'advice' and then do the opposite.
Why on earth would Britain care what Trump says. The man is barking mad and out of control and out ambassador in Washington needs to issue a clear statement that interference in the politics of another country is not acceptable.
Surely the real question should be, does President Trump actually care about Burnham?

Interesting glimpse into the diplomatic gears turning behind the scenes. It makes me wonder how much these types of early "warnings" actually influence UK appointments versus just being posturing for the new administration. Curious if we'll see more of this direct interference in cabinet choices moving forward.

I'm just here for the drama and the storytelling, Phil, but I get that politics can feel like too much sometimes.
