Different strategies, same goal: building wealth. Consistency and patience matter most...

how about combine dividend and index fund investing, income from dividend plus 3% from index fund = monthly income
@
This is well illustrated.

Very informative!

Excellent breakdown! Sometimes the best investing strategy is simply the one you can stick with for decades. 📈

Perfectly explain

Yo también tenía esa duda. Me gustó que el video comparara ambas estrategias de forma clara y sin vender una como la única opción correcta.

The question nobody asks in this debate — which one are you actually going to hold through a 35% market crash without panic selling? Because the math on both strategies assumes you stay in. Most people don't. And the one you emotionally trust enough to hold is probably the right one for you, regardless of what the spreadsheet says.

Good video. Which is best depends on the investor. If you have the knowledge and inclination to do your own research on individual companies, and can control your emotions, individual dividend stocks will be the way to go. On the other hand, if you don't want to do that homework, or can't, definitely stick with the index funds.

I have both in DBS bank in Singapore , both dividends and growth over the last 10 years

Index funds can be distribution or accumulation, same as many ETFs.
@
Great! So simple.
@
For those with aggressive investment tendencies, investing in SCHD ETFs is not a bad idea.
@
ETF can also pay Dividends
@
I like how nothing feels unnecessary or over edited.
@
Go with index funds while working and in retirement switch to dividend
