“From an Iranian perspective, the Israeli Air Force is a very powerful hammer which could be used against them. So I'm guessing that for the moment they don't want to draw Israel into this.”
lol, Iran has ripped the USA new a-hole, and you think they are worried about Israel.
What I see is a strategy called herding… I’ve never been in the military, but I was raised in the projects and we have more strategy than the people that you put on called professional military strategies
What exactly are Mark Urban military qualifications ? Did he go to war college, have an officers rank. If so he is one slow learner. Iran doesn't want to experience an atomic attack that's why Israel has not been attacked YET, in this round. When the US is driven out of the region, Israel won't be an issue.
Pounding the 9 US bases everyday without having to worry about Israel is a win, once those base's are completely destroyed they can focus only on Israel and GCC infrastructure, this is why the US is begging Iraq for use of bases there 😂 and moving assets to Israel 😂😂 if you can't see the Iranian strategy you're blind
Britain and the EU is allowing themselves to be blackmailed into buying more arms to fund the USA's budget and further enrich Eric & Donald Junior along with the rest of Trump's crooks. Wake up people ! Trump the draft dodger insults Britain and Europe and says he will consider leaving Nato ,well sod off then we don't want your bases or your war machine. Get out!
Everything is AOK. Status quo. All the rich people are richer, the poor is poorer, YouTubers are still employed YouTubing, and Trump is still President.😮
so they're scared of the israeli air force while getting hammered by the USAF?
well that's a very weird take. maybe they don't want to take on both of them,
but there's no safety in taking on the Americans - by the looks of it.
I think it's more likely that they know Israel might well send a tactical nuke, the US isn't AS LIKELY to do that.
When did Iranians tell you that!. You mean a military that fights women, children and civilians can fight without Big brother on its side?

Spot on, Theo. From a global perspective, Tehran is likely weighing this against their regional proxies to see who blinks first.

You've got it right, Theo. Back in my day, we called this a stalemate, and usually, the one who blinks first loses everything.

That "powerful hammer" analogy hits hard—it's all about calculating the risk before making a move. High stakes game of chicken right here. Do you think Iran will actually play it safe, or are they just waiting for a better opening?
