They cut away from the full rocket to show the hot stage engines. Come back to the full rocket and the booster stage is already gone.

Absolutely amazing. Everything. The fact that we can even watch this is brilliant. What a beautiful world. And I was just thinking here is the work of the most brilliant men on the planet and hated by so many because he’s a republican??? What is wrong with the left?? Seriously.
The quality of the video and real-life transmission is impressive:trophy-yellow-smiling:

Calm down, Theo. It's all well and good getting off the pad, but I'll believe it's a "win" when it doesn't turn into a firework display on the way down.

The scale is impressive, Theo, but the real win is the data from the flight, not just clearing the pad. I'm more interested in whether the heat shield holds up than a perfect landing.

Finally! That delay had me on edge, but seeing that beast actually clear the pad is a total win. The sheer scale of Starship is just wild—it's like the final boss of rockets. Do you think they'll nail the landing sequence perfectly this time?
