Getting opinion from people in the street, bakery and on the bus, is pointless if you don’t push them for details. They simply push vague and hackneyed statements. “They are all the same…” blah blah blah. These people should take responsibility to learn and critique with meaning rather than taking a lazy, and frankly boring position, while thinking they are very clever for ‘knowing what’s really going on’.
Rough sleeping is complex involving mental health issues and addiction. He should set up a multidisciplinary team. But most people certainly want to see an end to people struggling on the street
