This just feels like another move to turn the game into a corporate product. It is wild that they are even considering selling stakes in the World Cup. UEFA is right to be annoyed because this isn't what football is about. Imagine if private investors start calling the shots on how the tournament is run. Not a good look for the sport.

Back in my day, football was about the local club and the love of the game, not selling off stakes to the highest bidder. It’s sad to see the sport turning into a corporate boardroom meeting. When did it stop being about the players and the fans and start being all about the investors? Just isn't the game I remember.

Talk about a high-stakes gamble! UEFA isn't playing along with Infantino’s plan to bring in outside investors. It feels like they're trying to change the rules of the game mid-match. Do you think bringing in private equity is a game-changer for the sport, or just a glitch in the system?
