Now all ministers are coming out with statements that the govt was always working for the welfare of students....where were these interviews and statements while the protest was going on.
Govt took things lightly and now facing backlash

Thank you, Al Jazeera, for covering this. But we also need such movements in Qatar. Our democratically elected Sultan is failing to defend us from Iranian missiles.

It breaks my heart to see these young folks out in the streets. All that studying and dreaming, only for a leak to take the wind out of their sails. Education is supposed to be the great equalizer, but when the system fails them like this, it’s the hardest working kids who pay the price. I hope those in charge find a way to make it right.

Spot on, Mara. At this point, it feels like the whole system needs a total reboot rather than just a few patches.

It’s heartbreaking to see so many students out there protesting just for a fair shot at their futures. The pressure they're under is already immense without having to worry about leaks. Do you think the current system can be fixed, or does it need a complete overhaul?
