Finally! Decorating Cents was my favorite HGTV show. Iโ€™m not interested in flipping a house, moving, or spending massive amounts of money to restyle, rebuild, buy, or sell my house. I havenโ€™t watched HGTV much lately. Used to watch it all the time when they gave simple, affordable, and realistic ideas and hints. Please bring back half-hour shows that tell me how to redesign on a budget! I would start watching more. Loved this new episode! Make more!

Really missed these shows..glad itโ€™s back. Hope it stays

Decorating Cents was my favorite show, years ago. We definitely need to bring back these kind of shows. A lot of people don't have loads of money to decorate their home. HGTV has gotten off track. So glad to see this show make a comeback. We need several of these types of shows
@
Oh my goodness back to why I started watching HGTV back in the day. Then you took all the good shows away. Please bring more of these types of shows back and I may start watching again!

Love, love, love Decorating Cents! Hope Iโ€™ll see more episodes๐Ÿ˜Š

I am so OVER the high budget makeovers and the unrealistic flips that dominate home design television. This show is what HGTV needs! Fun and easy to create furniture transformations and bold design. I am also so tired of the white rooms, black window and greige that has dominated the HGTV makeovers as well.

Let's make our homes finally reflect who we are instead of always designing for resale!!!! I have watched Evette Rios on other shows like Rachael Ray and The Chew and she is so talented and with Lauren and Cole, seems like HGTV stumbled on a dream team! Can't wait for more!!!!

THIS is the HGTV we all miss! Decorating Cents and Design On A Dime were a couple of my favorite shows! Now bring back arts and crafts, sewing and the like, the days of Carol Duvall are sorely missed, real people doing real things, hands on, affordable, and attainable, something you watch and think "I can do that!" I'm so over the current shows, I can't even remember the last time I tuned into the channel, this is a step towards making me a viewer again. Well Done!

It was shows like this one that had HGTV on in my house all day. Glad to see it. A great transformation Lauren and Yvette

The room turned out nice. I like the painted chair before she added the spray paint. Good job

I grew up watching Decorating Cents and happy to see itโ€™s coming back !

FINALLY HGTV is back to REAL! Not everyone can spend a lot of money to decorate. Showing people how to make the most of what they have and budget ideas is REAL!!!!
Most people need these types of creative ideas to learn how to make the most of their space.
This is an AWESOME show.

Glad to see a show on HGTV where it isnโ€™t a $50k renovation!!!

I'm a former interior designer from Minneapolis Minnesota where the show Decorating Cents originated. I was asked to be on the show back in the late 1990s, however, at the time I was pushing natural fibers, environmentally sustainable organic materials to be used to create healthier environments, and given that, I couldn't assure that I could create a room for $500 or under, hence I had to pass on the offer. I think it's great that this show has been brought back! Keep informing people that they can improve their homes by utilizing DIY techniques that they can enjoy doing themselves. KUDOS - Susan

It's about time HGTV got back to actually designing again. I'd like to see more of this type of programming. It will give me an incentive to watch that channel again. More please.

This is what HGTV has been missing. This is the kind of show that drew me to the channel in the first place yrs ago. Relatable, cost effective ideas, updates and simple changes that make a big impact that most everyone can apply to their home& actually consider affording. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ. Seriously. I despise ALL the shows are just about buying, and/ or w/ridiculous remodeling beyond any average homeowners budget.
@
This was fun! And I'm glad that the home owners were honest about what they did and didn't like. Great job everyone!
@
SO proud to be a part of this project! #decoratingcents
